There are some very sad things in our world,the saddest of all,are those lost to their OWN connection,their OWN past,and ancestors. And so,they "pretend" to be someone,or something,they are not,and can never be. They neither understand,or care that what they are doing DOES hurt others,my Peoples have fought long and hard to simply be HERE on Turtle Island and each day they make it harder. My question,WHY,why are they so ASHAMED of their OWN heritage,so lost from truth they must try so hard to steal the very Spirit of a People who have payed in blood five hundred years to survive? They "claim" to teach somethings,not only they can not,they will never even TRULY understand,how do I know? If they understood the very FIRST lesson of Native "Americans",they would honor,and not shame,and would RESPECT the rights of a People to keep the Spiritual Ways of their ancestors,and not "play" at our ways. They do not know the truth of ANY one way,ANY one Nation,so,like their own Christianity,they think it OKAY to mix and match,add to,or take away even from the little they think they know. ONLY the Elders or Leaders of EACH Nation,teach Ceremony,and then ONLY face to face with those WORTHY to learn among their OWN! So,if you are BUYING a "spirit" lesson,a "teaching" or a "healing",you get EXACTLY what you pay for,NOTHING,instead you are helping these kind to steal from you,you are better served if you learn the traditions of your own ancestors BEFORE they were "Christianized"! Learn your OWN roots,from where in Europe your family is from,what they believed,how they worshipped,and the connection they had to Mother Earth,you may be very surprised at the good feelings you discover.
